eLit proudly announces the hiring of Julia Romero Peter as its Director of Sales, Southwest. Ms. Romero began her professional life as a litigator for the New Jersey/New York law firm of Saiber LLC where she focused on labor and employment; trademark and copyright; unfair competition; trade secrets, restrictive covenant/employment agreements and protection of customer lists litigation; and antitrust law.  With over six years of practice experience, Ms. Romero retired and joined LexisNexis Applied Discovery as an account manager consulting on eDiscovery best practices and discovery management.  She also developed and implemented review strategies to meet individual client needs in complex multi-state and international litigations.  She later joined Guidance Software as a Director of Professional Services for the Southwest where she continued to provide consulting on best practices. Ms. Romero received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark, where she was Managing Editor of the Rutgers Computer & Technology Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. She received her B.A. in History with a minor in Education from Columbia University - Barnard College.
